This past week, I've come to realize that babies aren't the only ones to suffer from tooth pain. Alex and I are both going through this together. He's getting one and I was afraid that I might lose one. I was to the dentist back in February because I was having some pain in my mouth. He extracted two of my wisdom teeth and did a filling. I was back again in April for a cleaning and complained of the same pain. He waived it off, saying that nothing should be causing me pain any longer.
Well, Friday morning, I woke up and the whole left hand side of my face was swollen. I could barely even open my mouth. It was awful. I called a new dentist to see if I could get in and they took me in on Saturday. In the meantime, I talked to a couple of people in my family and they all mentioned that they knew someone that needed a tooth pulled because it was infected. I was so worried when I went to the dentist.
They did an x-ray and after looking in my mouth, found out that the roots of one of teeth had died. The new dentist told me that it had probably been like that for years because it was so bad. It turned out all I needed was a root canal, so no teeth lost. They did part of it on Saturday and I go back this week to get the rest done. So one half of a root canal later and three prescriptions later, I'm on the mend. Alex, on the other hand, is still working on his two bottom teeth. You can see and feel the tip of one of them. I'm wondering if all his teeth will be so exciting or just the first one?
Aside from our teeth dilemmas, we just came home from our first day of a Kindermusik weeklong summer camp and it was excellent!

All their teeth are exciting. Daxon is 10 months old and he is working on his 7th tooth ( has 4 top,3 bottom) and each one is still exciting!!!
I'm pretty slack, but you're right, they all will be exciting. His bottom two are completely through now and I'm waiting for more to make their appearance!
